HIGHLAND TOWER, KUALA LUMPUR ...

Kuala Lumpur - Highland Towers - A tragic event that will forever live in the memory of Malaysians. One of the 3 blocks of apartment at this place fell apart due to landslide and heavy downpour prior to that fateful day. And Highland Towers have become famous for claims of being a very haunted place.

Voices of the dead can be heard at night and ghostly figures are said to have appeared at the scene. There are also a story about a taxi driver who picked up a woman passenger at the middle of the night and being asked to drop her at the place. She left a bag and the poor taxi driver found it to be full of blood!

PUDU PRISON, KUALA LUMPUR ...

Kuala Lumpur - Pudu Prison - Old prison that was abandoned after the area around it became commercialized. Reports of a strange thin Indian man walking the prison hallways and disappearing around the corner. Screams can be heard from the room where hangings take place.

Certain areas such as specific cells and holding chambers were far colder than others. - Update: They are turning this back into a prison (for low security prisoners) as no one will take it up for commercial property as it is too well known for the hauntings. There were plans to turn it into a hotel where you can stay a night at the cell of the most notorious criminals. Actually, the listing is wrong about hangings. The hangings do not take place at Pudu prison. Unless its self inflicted/murder. Official hangings are done outside Pudu. There were of course many in-prison acts of violence that led to deaths of inmates. Many drug addicts were known to be victims of violent criminals and so they were moved out into another prison elsewhere.

BUKIT TUNKU, KUALA LUMPUR ...

Bukit Tunku, Kuala LumpurA spooky place to be even when it is actually one of the most elite residential areas in Kuala Lumpur. This place with its many big and tall trees and very winding roads, has an eerie feeling about it even at broad daylight. It is said that a few years ago two youth embarked on a high speed motorcycle chase around the curvy roads of the area.

One of the youth crashed at a dark stretch of the road, which is actually a very sharp corner. There have been claims about sightings of a young man riding a motorcycle at high speed, who mysteriously vanished in the dark.

Georgetown, PenangA T-junction better known as The Deadly Junction is located beside the Union High School. It is said that if you ever drive through this lonely road late at night, your care will go out of control and crash due to the too many accidents that happened there. It is also said that there is a tiny unknown tree beside the road which looks like a lady carrying a child. The story was known by some old folks saying that this lady was once a bomoh (witch doctor) who kidnapped her sister’s son. Somehow, they never again appeared anywhere except other than being seen beside this road.

Malay College Kuala Kangsar, Kuala Kangsar, Perak ..

Malay College Kuala Kangsar, Kuala Kangsar, Perak – This school is said to be a former site of Japanese occupation camp during WW2. Students would sometimes be awakened by something that stares down directly at them. A marching platoon can be heard in the field and sounds of dragging chains can be heard through the campus corridors. A tree on the campus, which is located right beside a lampost where the light shines down on it, reflects a shadow of a man hanging from the tree! A few other old colonial admin buildings that were used by the Japanese during the Occupation in the 1940s where executions are taken place are buildings like Victoria Institution and Bukit Bintang Girls School

MYSTERY IN KELLIE'S CASTLE, PERAK....

For locals, the story of Kellie’s Castle needs no introduction and until today, people still regard it as one of the most haunted places in the country. During the day, the castle is like a timeless monument of the past but come the nightfall the castle and its surroundings are instantly transformed sending shivers down the spines of anyone who cast an eye upon it.
Many still believe that the ghost of William Kellie Smith still lives on in his dream castle; sightings have been reported with William Kellie Smith often pacing around the corridors of the first floor while his daughter Helen, in a white blouse and curly hair haunts her old bedroom. As you walk through the vast halls of the castle, you might get a feeling that you are being followed and watched. Well, you better watch your step and not “trip” as you walk down.
What has to be the most famous legend is the fact that Kellie’s Castle is believed to have many hidden rooms and tunnels. During the day, you will have no problems finding your way around the castle but when it is lights out then be warned not to stumble into one of its many hidden rooms. A brief detour in these rooms would mean a difficult time finding your way back out and maybe; you will come face to face with William Kellie Smith himself. While there's never been a sighting at Kellies Castle, there are reports of opening and closing on their own, as well as piercing screams in the middle of night.
